Hatsune Miku and friends visiting Scandinavia contest


We’ve got some big Vocaloid fans here in Alpha Entertainment, and so we’re holding not one, but two contests and a bonus one, to bring more of Miku and friends to Scandinavia!
Alpha Entertainment might be a Danish publisher, but we’re opening up these contests for all of Scandinavia, which means that fans from all these countries can join our contest: Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Sweden, and Norway!


Miku and friends visiting Scandinavia Fanart Contest

Draw a fanart of the Vocaloids that shows them visiting a Scandinavian country, such as sightseeing a landmark, performing in traditional clothing, trying local dishes or something completely different!
The prices for the contest are:
  1. Tony Taka ver. Hatsune Miku Figure by Max Factory
  2. Snow Miku – Polar Bear Costume Plushie
  3. Hatsune Miku keychain from Mikunopolis
All winners will also be featured and promoted in Alpha Entertainment’s Danish manga and comic magazine, “Comic Party”.
Characters to Use for illustration:
Hatsune Miku, Kagamine Rin, Kagamine Len, Megurine Luka, MEIKO and/or KAITO.
(Use at least one of these characters)
Submission Period:
Friday, 7th December 2011 – 7th February 2012 (at latest by midnight - GMT+1).
How to Submit:
Submit your entry to Comic Party’s contest gallery on DeviantArt, which can be found here.
Size, Format and Other Requirements:
  • There is no size requirement.
  • Please submit a file of at-least 100 DPI.
  • Of the winners, we will request a re-submission with a minimum of 300 DPI, and in CMYK colour.
  • The fanart must have Scandinavian, or one of the Scandinavien country, as theme. (going by the widest definition of Scandinavia)
  • Multiple submissions are welcome.
  • Contest is open to participants from these countries: Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway, Sweden.

Vocaloid fandub contest.

Our other contest is for all you singers and text writers out there! You need to fandub a song that is originally performed by Hatsune Miku, Kagamine Rin, Kagamine Len, Megurine Luka, MEIKO and/or KAITO into whichever Scandinavian language you want/normally use, and post it on YouTube for all to enjoy!
The prices for this contest are:
  1. Max Factory Figma 082 Vocaloid Luka Megurine action figure
  2. Snow Miku Polar Bear Costume Plushie
  3. Hatsune Miku keychain from Mikunopolis
Songs that may be used for fandubbing:
Any original song, first performed by either Hatsune Miku, Kagamine Rin, Kagamine Len, Megurine Luka, MEIKO and/or KAITO.
Submission Period:
Friday, 7th December 2011 – 7th February 2012 (at latest by midnight - GMT+1).
How to Submit:
Upload your entry to YouTube and include a link to this blog entry, then send a mail to contest@comicparty.dk with a link to your video.
Other Requirements:
  • All proper credit must be given to the artist whose work are used in the video.
  • Multiple submissions are welcome.
  • Contest is open to participants in these countries: Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway, Sweden.

Bonus contest, Creative idea!

We got some leftover goodies, and instead of us keeping them, they will be used for an no-holds-barred open contest for the most creative fan creation! Meiko themed drink? Balloon animal in the shape of a Rin? Vocaloid themed Christmas decoration? a Mikumikudance video? You decide!
Submission Period:
Friday, 7th December 2011 – 7th February 2012 (at latest by midnight - GMT+1).
How to Submit:
Take a photo of your entry, along with a small piece of paper saying “comicparty.dk” to confirm that it’s an original creation for the contest and Submit the photo to Comic Party contest gallery in DeviantArt which can be found here.
Other Requirements:
  • The photo must be taken in at-least 100 DPI.
  • Multiple submissions are welcome.
  • Contest is open to participants in these countries: Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway, Sweden.
