supercell has announced that they will release their 5th single, “Kokuhaku / Bokura no Ashiato“, on March 7th!
The first A-side, “Kokuhaku“, will serve as the new ending theme song to the late-night Fuji TV anime “Guilty Crown“. The anime will use “Kokuhaku” starting February 2nd, the same day that “Bokura no Ashiato” premieres as the ending theme song for the anime “Black★Rock Shooter“.
The members of Supercell were heavily involved with the two animes, as red juice provided the character designs for “Guilty Crown” while huke worked on the illustrations for “Black★Rock Shooter”. Both members are said to be gaining a reputation for their illustrations.
“Kokuhaku / Bokura no Ashiato” will come in four different editions: a “Guilty Crown Version”, which is available as Limited Edition A (CD+DVD) and Regular Edition A (CD-only), and a “Black★Rock Shooter” version, which will be labeled Limited Edition B (CD+DVD) and Regular Edition B (CD-only). The ‘A’ versions of the single will feature jacket designs by red juice, while the ‘B’ versions will a cover designed by huke.
